Read this page before ordering. It describes what these materials are, and the limits on what they may be used for. Placing an order means you agree to every statement below.

What we supply

Lone Star Peptide Co. supplies chemical reference materials to laboratories, universities, and qualified researchers. Every item in the catalog is sold as a research material and nothing else. Purity figures, lot numbers, and analytical data are published so that purchasers can evaluate a material for suitability in their own work.

Not a drug, and not approved

None of these materials is a drug, a dietary supplement, a cosmetic, or a food. None has been approved by the United States Food and Drug Administration, or by any comparable authority in any other country, for any use. Nothing published by us — on a product page, in a certificate of analysis, in an email, or anywhere else — should be read as a claim that a material treats, prevents, diagnoses, cures, or affects any disease or condition, or that it produces any effect in a person or an animal.

We do not provide instructions for use in any living subject. We do not publish or supply, on request or otherwise, guidance on preparation for administration, quantities, schedules, or routes of administration. Requests of that kind will not be answered.

Not for human or veterinary consumption

These materials must not be administered to humans or to animals. They must not be ingested, injected, inhaled, or applied to the body, and they must not be resold, repackaged, or distributed for any of those purposes. This restriction is not a formality. It is the condition on which the sale is made, and it applies to the purchaser and to anyone the purchaser gives the material to.

If you intend to use a material in or on a person or an animal, do not order from us.

Your responsibilities

By ordering, you confirm that you are 18 years of age or older, that you are acquiring the material for laboratory research, and that you are qualified — by training, facilities, or supervision — to handle it safely.

You are responsible for complying with every law, regulation, institutional policy, and licensing requirement that applies where you are. Legal status varies by country, and in some cases by state or province. We do not give legal advice and we cannot assess your jurisdiction for you. Determining that an order is lawful for you to place, receive, and possess is your obligation, not ours.

You are also responsible for appropriate laboratory handling: controlled storage, personal protective equipment, containment suitable to the material, accurate labelling, and disposal in line with local waste rules. Treat every item as a substance of unknown hazard.

If you do not agree

We may decline or cancel any order, before or after payment, if we believe a material is intended for use in a person or an animal, or for any purpose outside laboratory research. Where an order is cancelled for this reason, payment is refunded in full.
